FlexMD Welcomes Dr. Caroline Lee-Ming Chua as Lead Physician

FlexMD is delighted to announce the appointment of Dr. Caroline Lee-Ming Chua as our new Lead Physician. Dr. Chua brings a wealth of expertise, leadership, and compassion to our team, and we are excited to have her on board.

Professional Background:

Dr. Chua has a distinguished professional background, beginning with a Bachelor of Health Sciences (Honours) from McMaster University in 2005, followed by a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Toronto in 2009. Dr. Chua completed her Family Medicine Residency at North York General Hospital from 2009 to 2011 and subsequently pursued a fellowship in Low-Risk Obstetrics at The Scarborough Hospital in 2011. She has been practicing Family Medicine since 2012.

Dr. Chua has demonstrated exceptional leadership throughout her academic life, including her role as one of the Chief Family Medicine Residents at North York General Hospital. As well, she has been actively involved in a number of teaching, volunteering, and mentorship programs.

Notable Achievements:

Dr. Chua has received numerous notable awards and honors throughout her career. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from McMaster University and was recognized with the Dr. Mary E. Keyes Certificate of Leadership. Additionally, she was listed on the Provost’s Honour Roll and Dean’s Honour List at McMaster University. Her achievements also include membership in the Golden Key Honour Society and earning the Gold Level of the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award.

Interests and Hobbies:

Beyond her professional achievements, Dr. Chua leads an active lifestyle with her husband and three kids. When she has time, she enjoys spending it with her family and friends, snowboarding, skiing, swimming, biking, yoga, boxing, and travelling.
